American Harris large scale integrated circuit testing techniques are used in MCG-100W moisture meters,which makes the measurement a high degree of accuracy.

  In order to measure wood of different density,a 6-selector switch is set up for choice of tree species.Please adjust the selector switch as it shows in the following table each time.

  When using MCG-100W moisture meter,please put its back on the measured wood levelly and exert proper pressure.The surface of wood must be smooth,otherwise there will be a measuring error.

 If moisture content of measured wood is not proportional,several parts should be measured.Then work out   average data,and you get the average moisture content.

  Prompt:1.When measuring moisture content of wood,MCG-100W meters should be put in the direction of wood fibre.

  2.The surface of wood should be flat.

  3.MCG-100W meter′s sensor is hidden in the square frame at the bottom of the meter.It is 45 mm long,and 44 mm wide.So the surface of the measured wood must be bigger than that of the sensor.

  4.No other things can be placed under the wood to be  measured,or measurement will be not precise.

  5.If wood to be measured is thinner than 30 mm,please put the wood in the air when measuring.Or,put several pieces together until it is thicker than 30 mm.
